Strategic Logistics & Optimization
You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of a delivery. This involves planning driver trips, monitoring the loading process at the rack, and ensuring fuel reaches its destination on time. You aren't just following a map; you are expected to analyze logistical data, reduce idle time, and improve overall fleet efficiency.
Regulatory & Safety Command
This is the most critical part of the job. You act as a "compliance gatekeeper" to ensure every trip follows strict laws regarding:
- HAZMAT: Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
- Labor: Drivers’ Hours of Service (HOS) to prevent fatigue.
- Equipment: Ensuring trucks meet weight and dimension standards.
- Safety: Verifying that all staff are using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) protocols.
Operations & Communication
You serve as the primary hub for information. This includes:
- Staffing: Managing shift schedules to ensure the dispatch desk and fleet are always covered.
- Liaison: Acting as the professional voice between drivers in the field, upper management, and the end customer.
- Reporting: Maintaining precise digital records of all activities using Microsoft and Google Suites.
Key Candidate Profile
The ideal person for this role is a detail-oriented multi-tasker who understands the technicalities of fuel hauling. They must have the "soft skills" to handle phone etiquette and teamwork, paired with the "hard skills" for analytical problem-solving in the transport industry. Class 1 license is required.

- Safety Leadership: Actively verify that all personnel are using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to occupational health and safety standards.
Communications & Relationship Management
- Operational Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, management, and customers to ensure instructions are clear and expectations are met.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries and provide professional updates on delivery windows via phone and email.
